Jason Kidd collected his 13th double-double of the season in last night’s 108-107 win over the Milwaukee Bucks.

No. 2 dished out 12 assists and sunk 11 points, nine from downtown. He also grabbed four boards and two steals.

But J-Kidd wasn’t the only one with impressive numbers last night.

The Mavericks won their tenth straight game decided by one point, tying the St. Louis Hawks for the NBA record.

No. 2 told Pegasus News what he believes winning 10 straight games decided by one point says about the team:

"We’re not a team that’s going to panic if we need a shot or we need a stop. We understand what we need to do at that point. To win this many games by one point, it says that we’re doing the right thing at the right time.

"It just shows that we’re a veteran ball club—we’re not going to panic,” Kidd said. "We can win a game with a shot at the end, or if we needed our defense to step up and get a stop, like tonight, we did that."

He summed it up in a post-game interview from NBA.com:

Head coach Rick Carlisle was complimentary of his team:

"It says that we have guys who can keep cool in those situations. You’ve got to be able to execute at both ends to be able to have that kind of run. My hat’s off to them. It’s unusual, but to have a successful season, you’ve got to be able to win close games."

Teammate Jason Terry told ESPN that they owe their 1-point wins to the veterans on the team.

"We’ve got a lot of veteran guys that have been in tough ball games. There’s no hesitation. There’s always a determination, somewhat of a confidence that if we get in that situation, we know we’re going to win."
