Jason Kidd cemented his hold on sixth spot on the all-time 3-pointers list as the Mavericks split a back-to-back homestand over the weekend.

J-Kidd passed Eddie Jones when he sunk his 1,547th long shot. He currently has 1,554 3-pointers and trails Glen Rice by just five treys. He sank six triples over the weekend after passing Jones last week.

No. 2 went 4-5 from beyond the arc in Saturday night’s loss to the Utah Jazz. He racked up 19 points, handed out eight assists and pulled down five rebounds.

Six of J-Kidd’s nine points came from downtown in Friday night’s 112-103 victory over the San Antonio Spurs.

He told ESPN how composure helped the Mavericks win the game.

"It’s a game of runs. They got theirs. We got ours. We didn’t panic. We kept playing and Dirk knocked down some big shots."

No. 2 scored nine points, dished out eight assists, grabbed five boards and picked off two steals in the victory.
