Jason and Co. came out strong Wednesday night, but weren’t able to get a win against the fiesty New Orleans Hornets, losing 104-97.
For No. 2 it was a night of sevens — he had seven points, seven rebounds and seven assists in the contest.
Dallas (22-17) has now dropped four in a row after being hot at the start of the New Year.
With Josh Howard out indefinitely, Jason has to continue to take shots and play hard. Coach Rick Carlisle said:
“He’s just got to continue the same approach. He’s stepping into open looks, and a lot of them are in the slot, but they’re just not going down. Systematically, he’s just got to continue what he’s doing and over 82, it’s all going to come out in the wash. He’s going to make his share of shots, because he’s one of our better 3-point shooters.”
