On a high from a very deserved Sunday victory at the Garden against the New York Knicks, J-Kidd and the Mavericks will be back in action tonight, in Charlotte to face the Bobcats.
In the 124-114 overtime win over the Knicks, the Mavs’ offense surged late in the game, outscoring New York 12-2 in the extra period. The veteran status of many Mavericks’ players, including Jason, helped them stay calm in a high-pressure situation.
USA Today quoted Jason:
“We’ve been playing some close games and the fourth quarter has been a problem for us. This is a veteran group so nobody’s panicked.”
