At 2-5, Jason the Mavericks are looking to get back to their winning ways tonight against the youthful Chicago Bulls.
Though the Mavericks have struggled in their first few games, J-Kidd’s positive attitude helps, and he knows that he and his team can figure it out. As he said to the Star-Telegram:
“It’s a long season. We’ve got a great group of guys. We’re going to figure this out and get back on the winning way.”
There have been, and will be more bright spots. The Dallas Morning News writes:
“Kidd and Jason Terry had the Mavs running and gunning to a 60-54 halftime lead over what has clearly been the NBA’s best team in the early season. The Los Angeles Lakers have played the best defense in the league, and only one of their first five victims reached 90 points.”
“Kidd produced a triple-double and played determined defense.”

Jason and the Mavericks will travel to Chicago to take on the Bulls tonight at 7:30pm (note time change).
