The NBA’s offseason is in full swing, giving teams like the Dallas Mavericks an opportunity to improve. Coach Jason Kidd and the Mavs aren’t wasting any time.
While Dallas negotiates with players, works on potential trades and waits for the new league year to officially begin, they aren’t sitting on their hands. They’re also adding to the bench in Dallas, complementing Coach Kidd’s staff with some veteran minds and fresh ideas.
Alex Jensen and Josh Broghamer have joined the Dallas staff.
Jensen spent the last decade in Utah as a lead assistant, and is credited with helping develop Rudy Gobert into an All-Star and Defensive Player of the Year. Coach Kidd and the Mavs hope he can have a similar impact on first round draft pick Dereck Lively II.
