Jason Kidd can add one more accolade to his already prestigious resume.
Just hours before he made his regular season debut as Dallas Mavericks coach on Thursday, October 22, J-Kidd was announced as part of the NBA’s 75th Anniversary Team.

A 10-time All-Star, and a nine-time All-Defensive Team member, an NBA Champion, as well as one of the greatest passers the league has ever seen, Jason’s inclusion on the list was a pretty easy decision.

He was joined on the team by former teammates Dirk Nowitzki and Steve Nash, who Jason played with on the Mavericks and Suns respectively. Kidd’s inclusion on the list comes three years after being inducted into the Hall of Fame alongside other notable 75th Anniversary Team members like Nash and Ray Allen.
The team was selected by a panel of media members and former and current players, coaches, team executives and general managers, all celebrating the players that helped shape and define the game that we see today.
