Two and a half minutes into the game, Giannis Antetokounmpo threw down an alley-oop dunk to take the lead and the Milwaukee Bucks never looked back. The Bucks held onto that lead for the rest of the game to end up beating the Indiana Pacers, 122-101.
With this win, the Bucks were able to regain confidence after their New Year’s Day loss to the Toronto Raptors. They shot 58.7% from the field and 52.9% from three, giving no sense of hope to the Pacers.
Giannis Antetokounmpo had 31 points and 10 rebounds, through just three quarters. Coach Jason Kidd was able to give Antetokounmpo the entire fourth quarter off, playing him for just a total of 29 minutes.
“We all like to have a game like this when you can keep them under 30 minutes,” Kidd said after the game.

Hopefully the rest will prove to be beneficial as the Bucks host the Toronto Raptors on Friday, four days after their overtime loss to them at the Air Canada Centre. Tipoff is at 8pm ET.
