It has been a tough week for the Milwaukee Bucks, as they have lost three straight games for just the second time this season. The Bucks have kept it close, losing 115-108 to the Pelicans, 115-109 to the Bulls and 115-111 to the Rockets.
After reflecting on the recent losses, Coach Jason Kidd says his team is fighting themselves, rather than the opponent.
“Right now for some reason we’re just not making open shots. But, we have to keep getting those shots and hopefully they’ll turn into makes.”

Each of these losses comes after giving up 115 points, 10 more than their season average. When it comes to close games, just a few possessions can make a big difference, especially on defense. For Kidd, its emphasizing the little things like offensive rebounds and turnovers, both areas where his team is struggling, in order to make things easier for his squad on nights where the shots aren’t falling.
Maybe they will be able to find a spark, as the team is excited to have some of their guys returning to the court this week from injury including Tony Snell, Jason Terry and Matthew Dellavedova. The Bucks will face a tough challenge next as they host LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers tonight at 8pm ET. The game will be broadcast on NBATV.
