Jasmina Anema, who lives in New York City, is suffering from a rare and aggressive form of leukemia, and requires a bone marrow transplant.
Without one, it is unlikely that she will survive much more than a month from now.
That task is made all the more difficult because Jasmina is African-American, and African-Americans are under-represented in worldwide donor registries.
You can make a difference.
In the Dallas area, you can join a blood marrow drive to help Karen Mellow Stock, a 40 year-old mother, daughter and wife suffering from lymphoma; doing so will help Jasmina as well. The drive will take place:
