If as a team, Jason and the Mavs can improve from the three-point line, they’ll have a much better chance at putting teams away instead of chasing them down to the wire.
Tonight against the Clippers, J-Kidd and Co. will work to better their three-point percentage, which is 23rd of the NBA’s 30 teams.
Dallas rolled over the Clippers in their last meeting, and will need to keep the pressure on as to not avoid another upset after their disappointing loss to the Grizzlies Sunday night.
Though the team as a whole has a three-point percentage of just over 33%, Jason (third on the team at 36.8 percent, just behind Jason Terry and Dirk Nowitzki) has been consistent all season. As Coach Rick Carlisle said:
“Kidd’s been good all year. I think we’re improving, and we’re shooting a ton of them in practice.”
