After starting off the season with a bit of bump, J Kidd and the Dallas Mavericks are rolling.

Winners of back-to-back 100-98 contests over the Atlanta Hawks and Los Angeles Clippers, the story recently is the growth of Jason’s young point guard prodigy, J.J. Barea. Against the Hawks, No. 2 finished with two points, six rebounds and eight assists, and Barea shined once again.

Barea told the Gulf Times:

“My teammates are showing a lot of confidence in me.”

“Those are my teammates. They are telling me things that are making me a lot better. I just want to go out there and do my best every night.”
