No. 2 and the Mavericks are starting to get the praise they have been waiting for, knowing at some point it would all come together, knowing the have the experience to make it happen.

After their 96-86 win over Houston (7-5), the Rockets head coach Rick Adelman made it clear he doesn’t read too much into the Mavs’ slow start. The Star-Telegram reports:

“They’re going to be one of the better teams in the West eventually. They’ve got the talent to be there.”

Jason, who had 8 points, 9 rebounds and 7 assists helped his team to end their latest road trip 3-0. A humble veteran, Jason was quoted by NBA.com after the game:

“We just kept going. Whoever takes the floor has to step up and Jet (Terry) was big. The guys coming off the bench were huge for us.”

J-Kidd and Co. (5-7) will try to keep up the strong play at home against Memphis Friday night. Tip is at 7:30pm.
