Dating back to 2003, Jason had lost to the San Antonio Spurs 11 consecutive times. That all changed last night.
With a near triple-double for the second time in just four games, Jason (nine points, 10 assists, eight rebounds) and the Dallas Mavericks bested the Spurs, 98-81.
Coach Rick Carlisle had nothing but good things to say about his team and how it has been led by Jason. The Dallas Morning News wrote:
“I’m learning more about the personality of our guys and whatever I have to do to facilitate them coming out like they did tonight, I’m going to do.”
